Even considering their untimely loss, this team was a force that few had seen before with this season's players going on to win eight NBA titles, two Olympic gold medals, five first-round NBA draft picks, six NBA players and seven All-American selections. Michael Jordan himself went on to be the #3 pick in the 1984 NBA draft, winning a gold medal at the 1984 Olympics and earning 1st-Team All-American honours.
