Sydney Roosters NRL 1976 Retro Jersey
In 1976, the now Sydney Roosters went by the Eastern Suburbs Roosters and were the first team in NRL history, and also one of the very first for Australian sports, to wear a sponsorās name on their jersey. Although not the flashiest of seasons for the Roosters, finishing 5th in the regular season, they did manage to defeat Englandās, St Helens R.F.C with 25-2 at the World Club Challenge held at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
